Everything about us belongs to God.
When we give of our time, talents, and possessions for the sake of others, God rejoices. Our generosity is an expression of our gratitude to God. When we give, we grow in our faith and trust in God's abundance. The Ten Stewardship Principles can help.
Ways to Give
- Bill Pay: This option creates no fees for the church, and allows your bank to send a payment to the church from your account. Work with your bank to determine an amount and frequency that work for you.
- Give Online: You can make one-time or recurring donations through a secure donation site using your checking or savings account, or your debit or credit card. You can also make payments for specific projects or activities, like VBS or TLC registration fees. Recurring donations can be set up as weekly, semi-monthly or monthly, and you can change recurring donations at any time.
- Offering Envelopes: Each year, every family receives a box of offering envelopes. Use these envelopes if you give on a regular basis with cash or personal check. Just drop the envelope in the office plate or in the church office.
To set up your online giving, go to our online giving page to enroll online and manage your giving plan. You can also download this paper authorization form and submit it to the church office.
Where to Give
- General Operating: Provides for a strong operational base, and supports ministries in our church and in our local and global community.
- Missionary/Evangelism: Supports the ELCA missionary and other church-wide evangelical projects.
- First Lutheran Foundation: Supports our mission in perpetuity using earned income on fund investment.
- TLC & VBS Registration: Supports TLC and VBS fees and other expenses.
- Benevolence: Supports specific programs endorsed by First Lutheran Church.
